So fun fun on a Sunday 39 miles for me didn't quite finish the big climb due to wind and I didn't want to miss the Buffet with everyone tonight.
Saw 4 guys in camo shooting m-16 in semi on the way up this blake's climb and the way back a dude getting a BJ off the back of his truck (speechless)!
LW and DH have put such cool routes togather!!

What a site Dave! One of the fringe benefits of being in nature.
I've seen the full on beast with two backs on my regular ride before. The driver door was open and all I could see were the dude's workboots hanging out of the door. From a distance it looked like he was struggling to reach something on the other side of the truck. When I got (too) close, I realized it was something different. The lucky lady peeked her head out as I passed. I just rode on. Best not to say anything. As I distanced myself, I heard the distinct sound of a late model Isuzu mini-truck's engine revving along with the woody tone of gravel being sprayed into the forest as the wheels peeled out. I chanted quietly to myself, "Please go the other way. Please go the other way." He, she, it did. Whew! For a moment I had flashes of Deliverance-style thoughts running through my head. Yuck. (Sorry for the rant; had to share.)
