I remember having you along on your first bikepacking adventure and I was cold and you were a Chris popsicle. I had a blast hanging with yah but was worried Marni was never gonna give you a hall pass to do it again :)

I walk the line

Today was walking the fence line at my folks place... Mending fence were trees have blown down and also snow damage.... Only two spots i'll have to drive the texas wheelchair to cuz i'll need the big come'a'long and have to put in new metal stakes.... about 5 miles of carrying 60 lbs of tools and such... Diffantly not backpacking light :) 6 hours out there and a drank 150 oz of fluids.... I think the misqutos may have sucked that much outa me... ICK!

Was nice to ride with her for about an hour. Lotsa gooey mud near my folks place. nice to put in about 20 miles without my achillies hurting too bad... Right now i'm thinking Co Trail Race is gonna be a go Aug 2

Dang I'm still wrapped up watching everyone ride....Have no regets about pulling out and I have no desire to pedal that route again next year

My Achillies are still bothering me pertty good... even hurts to walk, ICK! Might get em checked out next week if there isn't any improvement this weekend

big ???? about weather i'll do Co Trail race this year or not.... Americain Classic is canceled due to no body really signing up... Have to nail down what my plans are this fall? Vapor trail? bigg wheeled bellyhoo? 24hrs moab? Trans Utah? Fixed or freewheel?

Maybe for Aug i'll just plan a big brithday ride around steamboat? Or Co trail race? back in Hurricane end of Aug? So many questions.... Wondering if i'll "race" or just ride next year..... Seems i have a much better time when i don't have any expectations for my self or plans... I donno.... Still sooooo drainned physicaly, metaly ect.... Just cooked.... why do I do what I do?

I think i'm gonna try a boil my thoughts down on my 4 atempts at the divide and write something for Dirtrag? I donno?
